Madison partners with two community agencies to mentor, train and encourage area residents who need some additional skills to reach their potential in the workplace.

Christian Women’s Job Corps is a non-profit ministry that serves women who are unemployed or under-employed due to a lack of education or job skills training. Classes, including GED preparation, take place at the Madison campus on Monday and Thursday nights. While the women are in class, free child care is provided for their children.

Also under the leadership of CWJC, a GED program for men meets at the Madison campus on Monday and Thursday nights. Our outreach to under-employed men also includes Jobs for Life, which offers Biblically based training on job-hunting skills, preparing for interviews and even identifying jobs that a person is best suited for.

"I just have to say thank you and God bless Madison Church of Christ. My son is taking part in your mentor/GED program, and I have seen miracles happening in his life and ours."

"Through the support I’ve received, and the Bible studies and the tools for life we’ve been given, I’ve realized I’m very strong. In fact, I never knew how strong I was until I participated in this program. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity!"
